Do I need a planner if the venue has a coordinator?
A venue coordinator works for the venue, not for you. They handle the room; a planner handles your vendors, your timeline and your budget.
How far in advance should I book event planners?
For weekend and holiday dates, 4–8 weeks ahead is comfortable. For smaller weekday events, one to two weeks is often enough. On EVE you can post your date and see who is actually available before you commit.
Do I pay EVE to find event planners?
No. Posting an event request, receiving applications, and messaging providers is free for clients. You pay the provider directly, on the terms you agree with them.
